    VERY IMPORTANT – THIS RACE VERSION IS NOT INTENDED FOR STREET USE. If you install it on a street car you will get very rough idling and power loss in the lower rpms due to heat soak from traffic lights and low speeds.

Carrillo rods are constructed from their propriety alloy and forged to their custom specifications. The rods are then fully machined to guarantee the removal of all surface imperfections. After heat treatment, each connecting rod is magnaflux inspected and hardness checked, then machined to final size. Each set is balanced and then shot-peened to achieve the ultimate in strength and fatigue properties.
